ERGOOFIS INDIA, a leading office furniture and seating systems manufacturer in Chennai, has over 15 years of manufacturing excellence backed by five decades in the Indian furniture industry.
Starting as a dealer and later moving into retail, the company gained deep customer insights before setting up its own manufacturing unit in 2004.
As one of the pioneers in producing 100% Indian-made office furniture, ERGOOFIS stood firm against low-cost imports by investing in R&D to offer high-quality, affordable alternatives.
The company has a strong production capacity with a 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, advanced machinery, and an in-house testing lab to ensure international quality standards.

Mukesh Gundesha embarked on his professional journey in 1996 after completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He began his career at Shanti Furniture in Chennai, where he gained hands-on experience in sales, developed a strong understanding of customer behavior, and acquired deep insights into the furniture industry—laying the groundwork for his entrepreneurial aspirations.
Driven by a passion for quality and innovation, Mukesh soon turned his focus to the niche segment of office furniture and gas lift manufacturing. With a clear vision and unwavering determination, he established ERGOOFIS INDIA—a venture that quickly grew into a leading name in ergonomic office furniture and high-performance gas lifts.
Today, Mukesh Gundesha is recognized as a prominent figure in India’s furniture manufacturing sector.
